The month of May was hard; I needed a distraction to help me cope with the challenges life threw at me. Books are my favourite companion when I need to escape somewhere — I’d rather Apparating, but unfortunately, I didn’t get my letter!

I read four books, and they were all very different from one another; two fiction and two non-fiction books.

  1. In Moonwalking with Einstein, you can expect a deep dive into the human mind.
  2. In Bedtime Stories for Project Managers, find insightful thoughts on Project Management.
  3. Flatshare gives you a sweet and cheerful romance.
  4. Lastly, Verity is an exciting thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire time.

Non-fiction

Moonwalking with Einstein by Joshua Foer

I saw this book everywhere — even at Bill Gates’ latest book review post — it immediately caught my attention.

In this book, Foer wrote about his journey as a contestant in the U.S. Memory Championship and sought out to answer the following question: Are some people just born with terrific memories?
